Drift
Drift is an art installation created on Granville Island for the Indian Summer Festival, in partnership with Boca Del Lupo. Inspired by my culture, heritage, and journey as a South African Indian, this installation is designed as an oasis for everyone. It’s a space where you can immerse yourself, take a moment to pause, and reflect on your own personal journey.
I collaborated with renowned Audio Experience Director and Interactive Audio Specialist, Sashen Reddy, to create a custom soundscape specifically for Drift. The sound was intricately designed to enhance the immersive nature of the installation. Drift welcomed nearly 12,000 attendees, offering each one a unique and reflective experience.
Under the Banyan Tree
Under the Banyan Tree was an immersive art installation I created in collaboration with Sirish Rao for the Indian Summer Festival on Granville Island in 2022. Inspired by the banyan trees of India, the space invited people from all walks of life to enter, rest, and reflect. It became a sanctuary where visitors could engage in personal moments—whether practicing yoga, laughing, crying, playing, or simply taking a pause from the bustle of daily life. The installation embodied the spirit of gathering, offering a space for contemplation and connection.
